"Old Memories" is a collection of recordings Yuichiro made in his early days as a student more than 20 years ago.
"Song of Hiroe" is a small memory of his grandmother Hiroe singing enka with him one distant afternoon while he picked a cheap acoustic guitar.
Old Yamaha is a series of techno inspired tracks he made with a Yamaha QY-20, the very first instrument he bought for just 10 $ at a flea market.

Yuichiro kindly allowed Ikigai Room cultural association to release these tracks for free download and on a limited edition of 50 tapes.

Yuichiro Fujimoto (藤本雄一郎, born 1981) achieves to create little sketches of music accompanied by field recordings. The songs have a very light and unfinished character - they are representing moments or situations rather than a long time of work in the studio. Fujimoto uses mostly acoustic instruments like guitars, xylophones, piano. In a very sensitive way some of the compositions are edited by digital processing.
